This term, we have focused our learning around Healthy Communities and Hauora.
We have thought about what a community is, what places are important for us in our community, what places we use and who we might see or visit.
This week we had a challenge with a buddy to think of places using all of the alphabet letters.Some of the letters, especially X, Y and Z were challenging! As a class we cam together and listed a couple of place names for each letter.
Next, we created an image using Google Drawing and used the Green Thinking Hat to develop our idea.

ReplyDeleteWonderful work with using the alphabet to discover places in a community. Maybe for the letter A you could have wrote alleyway as it is the name of the dark place between two houses. Well done with some of those words, some of which I have never heard of. Keep up your fabulous work.
