Benjamin who left us last term is now in Germany. His mum Trixie has sent through some photos of him.

CELEBRATING 100 DAYS AT SCHOOL-2018

YAHOO  - we finally crossed off 100 on our 100 DAYS at SCHOOL CHART today and celebrated with a party!

WE shared our 100 items which we had collected at home.

Benjamin's 100 candies, were also shared.
He left us these at the end of Term 2 because he returned to live in Germany.

We blew up 100 balloons, played maths games linked to 100,
played activities outside linked to 100 , wrote 100 words on a class chart
and to top it off we had a .......shared lunch.

Londyn, Honor, Savanna and Reneem worked as a team to create a variety of shapes and objects.

Celebrating Matariki

Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 celebrated Matariki today. 

We started our day with a karakia and a waiata.

All the children were in four mixed groups for all activities. 

Room 1 - making star biscuits 

Room 3 - creating window stars  

Room 3  - singing and raku stick games

Room 4  - creating wheku masks and using ta moko face stencils

We were lucky to have Tia (Kiara's mum) and Shazia (Azlan's mum) helping.
