We had to make our dough into two equal halves,
in words .......... one half and one half
with numbers .. 1/2 and 1/2.
We learnt that equal sharing of halves meant each half has to be the same amount.
We also used a piece of paper and cut it into 2 equal halves.
Who can talk about this learning with a family member?

Wow! Great job making both halves equal. We had a rule in my family when I was little to make sure we shared things in equal amounts: whoever divided something in half gave first choice to the other person. You were more likely to cut the portions evenly if you didn't want to end up with the smallest piece!
ReplyDeletegreat work everyone! keep learning !!!
