Experimenting with 2D shapes
We worked with a buddy and experimented with 2D shapes to see if we could create a tessellating pattern. We discovered to make a tessellating pattern there cannot be any gaps and it must repeat. Some shapes are tricky to tesselate and some cannot tesselate.

Your tessellation work is fabulous R4. You have created some very intricate designs with the 2D shapes. I'm doing some similar work with students in the older classes, maybe you could come and share some ideas with us next week?
