looked at all of the food we had inside them.

* We then decided we needed to group some foods.

* To collect our information we drew pictures to show what

   we had.

* Look at pictograph below to show what was in our

   lunchboxes.

* Can you answer the questions?

Junior Swimming Demonstration

Check out our water skills.

We had a fabulous day today showing off our swimming skills with Room 1, Room 2 and also Room 3. We have all gained heaps of confidence in the water this year and we now think we swim like dolphins.
Heaps of our mums and dads and family members came to watch us too.  That made us feel PROUD!
Miss McGrath was our fab speaker on the microphone.
At the end we all sang 'Happy Birthday' to Locarno.
He was allowed to get into the pool by himself to pick up a ring that we had left behind.

Triangle Maths Group

We have been learning different ways to make a group of five.

We used doubled sided counters.

This made it easier for us to see the patterns.

Our group name

Can you see some of our patterns?

Super number sentences making groups of five.

EVA the Guide Dog visits

Today Miss Lane's friend Nicola and Eva the
Guide Dog visited us.

Eva was very well behaved.

She slept most of the time, while Nicola told us how she trains Eva, so she can be a Working Guide Dog when she is a little bit older.

We also asked lots of questions.

Maybe you could ask your child a question about Eva.

We all got to give Eva pats.

Eva's tags which show her name and number.

                                                       Eva's working jacket.
