DOLPHINS READING GROUP

Ethan and Vili read the book 'Hedgehog Fun' -

then worked with Radee to make yummy hedgehogs using....
oranges, skewers, marshmallow, grapes, pineapple and cheese and kiwifruit.

SUPER WHEELS DAY

     What a fun morning we all had with our wheels.  Everybody in Room 4 brought    some type of wheels.  We shared our wheels with our friends.

Buddy Reading with Room 9

First week back in Term 2 and we meet our reading buddies from Room 9 again.  Super duper reading everybody.

To end the term all the Junior Classes worked in 4 mixed groups using our school environment or sports equipment to celebrate TEAM work.
Events were the .... school fitness course, throwing equipment, 
                                relays and big ball activities.

EXPLORING what ONE HALF means.....

We explored the meaning of one half.
We looked at shapes to find one half.
We used equipment to help find one half of a number.

We chose a number which ended with a 2, 4, 6, 8  or 0, 
then counted out equipment for that number.
We discovered any number which ends with 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0  could be made into two equal groups....two halves
